About me

Mike Groves has been a member of Tayside Raptor Group for over 15 years. In that time he's built an extensive knowledge and fieldcraft on three of our most iconic moorland breeding raptors: Merlin, Hen Harrier and Short-eared Owl.

His main study area is the Angus glens.

Over the years he's created a large portfolio of images depicting the management and biodiversity associated with this beautiful man-made habitat.

He's travelled throughout the world, from India to Cuba, improving his already immense knowledge of birds and nature.
